About Us

Marna’s Catering was created with the idea of introducing and mixing different ingredients into our menus. Chef Rolando Diaz known for his passion and amazing flavors, has been featured in the Maple Grove magazine and several online websites for his amazing touch and noticeable flair that he adds to all of his dishes. Also known for his famous “Front Burger” as Katie Cannon a food critic from Metromix in the Twin Cities described: The thick, all-beef patty with smoky chipotle peppers, adobo spices and piled high with provolone, crisp bacon, grilled onions, pineapple and a tangy sauce (whew!), sat expectantly before us. This burger meant business—dainty eaters beware. One messy mouthful after another and the creation was soon gone, leaving behind a subtle mouth-heat; just a memory of its sassy flavors.

Marna’s Catering is a company with great vision for improvement, great service and fresh flavorful quality food. Our vision is to ensure that each guest receives prompt, professional, courteous service, to ensure that all guests are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve and that every customer is completely satisfied by the conclusion of each event. We consistently maintain clean and comfortable premises for our guests and staff. We only serve nutritional, well-prepared meals- using only quality ingredients. We earn the pleasure of being able to have the opportunity to serve our clients and their guests. Our team is professional and very passionate about making sure every event is top notch, we strive for perfection at every event we cater. Marna’s Catering has very competitive prices for all events, we work with our clients budgets and are willing to adjust our menu prices based on what they can afford. We always provide high quality food and service no matter how small or big the event is.

Bio

Chef Diaz was born in New York City but grew up in the Central American paradise of Costa Rica. It was in his family’s restaurant in Costa Rica that Chef Diaz learned the native dishes and his signature skills with ingredients and flavor combinations. Diaz’s creative menu reflects his heritage, training and experience and combines it with great American fare.

Bio

Nicole has been in the customer service for over 10 years, she loves pleasing clients, its more of passion than anything else.

With a degree in Business, Nicole will always make sure that each client receives a response within 24 hours.

“I understand how important the process of organizing an event and receiving a quote in a timely fashion.

From rentals to planning a perfect menu, I make sure my clients are pleased and stress free during all of our events.

I am mother of two boys and in my free time I love to lay in the sun and put some miles on my bike when the weather cooperates here in MN.”

Bio

I started working in hospitality 10 years ago and have never thought of doing anything else. I love to cook for others and making others feel special with new and endless different ways to cook, especially my three kids. I appreciate the creativity in cooking and have great passion for fresh ingredients. I love working for Marnas Catering and being part of this awesome community of people. When not in the kitchen at Marna's, I am hanging out with my family, spending time with friends and playing in my home kitchen.

Bio

I'm a student at DCTC majoring in Event and Meeting Management. I joined Marna's Catering in 2015 and it has been one of the greatest decisions I have made. I am very passionate about Event Planning and making people happy, it is more than just a job to me, it is a lifestyle. It has been such a great journey to be able to apply what I am learning in school, directly into my job. When I am not working or at school, I enjoy my spare time hanging out with my family and being outdoors.
